By the \ntime I left on October 4th, I was not the same woman\u2014I was reborn in spirit, purpose, and \nlove. Lone Eagle didn't just help me recover from addiction\u2014it awakened a deep, ancestral \nhealing that changed the course of my life and my children\u2019s lives forever. \nThrough the sweat lodge ceremonies, I came to understand what it meant to love and care \nfor myself. I was introduced to the power of prayer, and for the first time, I felt connected to \nthe Creator in a way that made me feel held, seen, and guided. The Sundance ceremony \nbecame a cornerstone of my healing\u2014both then and now. I left feeling inspired, \nempowered, and finally believing I was worthy of something better. \nBrian\u2019s thought-provoking questions and powerful commentaries shook something loose \nin me\u2014helping me see truths I had been afraid to face. Connie and William stood by my \nside, not only during my time at the centre, but ever since. Their unwavering support has \nbecome part of the spiritual scaffolding that holds me and my family up to this day. \nEach year, I return to connect with them through the Sundance. It\u2019s more than a tradition\u2014\n it\u2019s a lifeline. My son, Justice, now Sundances every year. That sacred fire lit at Lone Eagle \ncontinues to burn brightly in our home and in our hearts. \nBecause of Lone Eagle, I now live a life rooted in resilience and sobriety. It gave me the \nstrength and clarity to become the Director of Child and Family Services for Bilijk \nWolastoqiyik\u2014a role I hold with pride and humility. More importantly, it gave me the tools \nto break cycles for my children. Some of them now walk the same sober path I do, and that \nis a gift no words can truly express. \nLone Eagle didn\u2019t just change my life\u2014it gave it back to me. And for that, I will be forever \ngrateful.
